    A very useful Food Commission website listing the foods, drinks and medicines sold in the UK containing any of the 7 food additives/colourings found to cause behavioural changes in children by the UK Food Standards Agency.
  • Allergy Induced Autism
    A U.K. based charity dedicated to identifying the underlying causes and biochemical effects of autistic spectrum disorders. If dietary and medical  intervention in autism is for you then this site offers you practical help and companionship as well as news and resources.
  • The Autism File
    Excellent, informative site linked to a quarterly magazine run by the parents of an autistic child.
  • Autism Research Unit
    This unit, run by Paul Shattock, has gathered a wide body of research relating autistic spectrum disorders to gut disorders. (http://osiris.sunderland.ac.uk/autism/aru.htm)
  • Autism Unravelled
    UK charity providing carers, individuals and professionals with easy to understand and up to date information on research into the causes and treatments of autistic spectrum disorders.
  • CARD
    The Center for Autism and Related Disorders is one of the largest organizations in the world providing treatment to children with Autism, PDD and Asperger's Syndrome.
  • The Feingold Association
    The original US association, started by Dr Ben Feingold in the 1970s, linking diet with behaviour and learning difficulties.
  • Hyperactive Childrens Support Group
    Excellent organisation which, for 25 years has helped and supported families with hyperactive, ADHD children.

  • Latitudes
    A US based organisation which explores advanced and alternative approaches to attention deficit disorder/hyperactivity, Tourette syndrome, autism and learning difficulties.

    Visceral is the research charity run by Dr Andrew Wakefield which co-ordinates and funds research into the relationship between environmental factors and the recent increases in diagnoses of autism worldwide. The site includes research reports, answers to frequently asked questions and a comprehensive list of publications on the subject.
