I know this seems crazy but…. I am electrosensitive so I do everything I can to build up my immune system and general health – including taking lots of nutritional supplements of various kinds.
I am also a rather faded, middle aged redhead – my hair colour having been fading gradually for the last ten years or so!
About five years ago, before I became ES but was still interested in nutrition, someone recommended green barley grass to me as a super food so I started taking it. At the time I was having my hair coloured to get it vaguely back to its original colour.
However, about three months after starting the barley grass, I noticed that I did not seem to need to get my hair coloured as often as usual. Finally I stopped altogether and although my hair did not go back to its original colour it, it stayed fairly red.
Then for some reason, I stopped taking the barley grass and my hair continued to fade to what I like to called strawberry blonde…
Anyhow…. After I became ES and was looking for extra immune boosters, I remember the barley grass and started taking it again. And guess what – six months later – I have a great deal more red in my hair than I had six months ago!!
I have no idea whether this is pure coincidence – although it seems unlikely – but given then the barley grass is good for you anyhow – someone else might like to have a go!!
For what it is worth, the one I use comes from Safe Remedies (http://www.saferemedies.net/) but I suspect that any make might work!! Good luck…..
