'All grains make me ill, not just wheat, rye and barley'
Just seen this post on Micki Rose's Truly Gluten Free site - and I wonder how many other people react to all grains, not just the 'traditional' glutens. I know I do....
Aah. Had a lovely email from a happy reader of the No Grain, No Pain article I wrote for FoodsMatter.com so thought I would share it with you. I love it when it 'clicks' for someone like that, as it did for me; makes all the work worthwhile!
"At first when I went gluten free I did very well. Then I decided that I deserved the gluten free snacks and beer that are available and slid backwards. I suspected these other grains, but all I ever heard from the doctors was "no wheat, barley, rye or oats" right? My neighbor sent me the link to your article and I went "I KNEW IT!" So now, no more of those grain products for me at all. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!"
