What makes electricity dirty and why does it effect some people?

Hi Jeemboh -
What I was told was that it had to do with the fact that lots of equipment ( like computers and TVs) plugged into an electric circuit caused the power to peak and each time it peaked it created a small electromagnetic field. Not sure whether this is accurate or not. The same person told me that there are filters made in the US which can smooth out these peaks and 'cleanup' the electricity. They are made by http://www.stetzerelectric.com/ and I believe that you can get them in the UK. Has anyone tried them and does anyone have any idea whether they work? Would be really interested to know if anyone has tried filters or any other devices which lessen the effects of dirty electricity.

Hi all -
I have now been using those electric filters (for dirty electricity) for several months and I really find them good. Dirty electricity seems to happen when you have lots of electrical appliances plugged into your ring main circuit. When they are switched on and off they create spikes in the electric current which in turn creates little electromagnetic fields. There are a couple of helpful articles on it on the Foods Matter ES section – try http://www.foodsmatter.com/es/electr..._lighting.html Anyhow, the filters sort of even out the spikes and reduce the EM radiation in the room. They certainly work for me. You can buy them at http://shop.wireless-protection.org/...ilter-97-p.asp and they cost £34.99 each. |
