Commercial Steam Vacuum Cleaner
Hello,
I just bought a Mega 1000cv commercial steam vacuum cleaner from daimer.com to use in my home. I haven't posted to a site like this before, but I was researching in Google, came across this site, and thought I'd write.
My 5 year old daughter developed chemical sensitivities a couple of years ago, and I feel so bad about it. I must admit I feel so guilty I've been using the same chemicals for years. The bottles do have warning labels on them, but I'd never really thought about them until my baby's health problems.
I read steam cleaners help eliminate the need for harmful chemicals, and figured getting a steam cleaner with a vacuum would allow me to more easily clean my 2000 square feet of tile and grout on a regular basis. I thought this machine would be better than just placing a towel around a brush if I bought a steam cleaner without a vacuum!?
I also felt it would help keep the carpets fresher. I did buy some Daimer Eco-Green tile cleaning and carpet cleaning solutions. I liked the sound of these green chemicals. I am trying to replace all the chemicals in my house with eco-friendly chemicals.
I haven't received the machine and chemicals yet, but I'm supposed to get them this week.
Has anyone out there bought a steam cleaner with or without a vacuum to clean around the house? Is it working well? Are you noticing a real difference in chemical sensitivity symptoms?
Did I make a good decision to buy a machine like this? What about the chemicals? I hope so!
Thanks very much any input you can offer..!
