New Orgran Pastas

Orgran have added two new pastas to their range – and both are excellent. They keep their texture well and both have lots of flavour. Both are rice and maize based with millet and 10% of either amaranth or quinoa. They come in 250g packs and cost around £2.65 from health food stores or www.naturallygoodfood.co.uk 01455 556878.
Good Food Naturally also stock their new Risoni – a combination of rice and maize flour, spinach, beetroot and garlic with a texture not dissimilar to cooked pearl barley.
They suggest using it for risottos or stir fries but we felt that it would be best appreciated as a gluten-free barley substitute in a lovely warming ‘pearl barley’ soup.
The Risoni costs £2.15 for a 200g pack.
