At LaplandUK, founder and owner Mike Battle offers families the full Lapland experience without costing them a fortune – or increasing their carbon footprint – because LaplandUK lives in the beautiful Bewl Water Estate in the heart of Kent – and not in Lapland...
A visit to LaplandUK promises a magical visit to an enchanted snowy woodland village. Every child receives an elf passport to take on their journey and join trainee elf Hokom on a quest to win the golden bell, learn to become a qualified elf and experience the activities and excitement of Father Christmas' home.
Included in the ticket price is the opportunity for every child to decorate gingerbread (gluten-free gingerbreads available) in Mother Christmas' kitchen, go ice-skating, meet husky dogs, see reindeer, send a postcard from Father Christmas' working North Pole Post Office, work with the elves in Father Christmas' toy factory (rocking horse department) and visit the mystical Sami people for traditional Nordic storytelling at their woodland encampment.
A freshly prepared nourishing hot two course meal (gluten-free options available) is included too, with ingredients sourced from local suppliers, and served in a rustic log cabin.
A personal visit to Father Christmas himself in his snowy forest home completes this unique day and because parents or guardians have already provided Father Christmas with all the information he needs (via the website), he 'magically' knows everything about his little guests and presents every visitor, young and old alike, with a beautiful gift. This year every child will receive a new soft toy husky dog Lumi (which means snow in Finnish).
Open from 14th November until Christmas Eve, tickets are priced from £57.50 and are now on sale. Bookings must be completed in advance and can be made on-line at www.laplanduk.co.uk – 0871 221 9627.
