Micki Rose says:
Inflammation is the bane of our lives and especially if we suffer from sensitivities of some kind. There are lots of ways to reduce inflammation but KappArest is a good supplement choice.
Inflammation processes are complex but essentially something triggers an inflammatory reaction, like a virus, toxin, allergen etc, and a protein complex called NF-KappaB is released. NFKappaB basically acts as a sort of 'amplifier' of inflammatory compounds and increases production of leukotrienes, cytokines and prostaglandins, all of which stoke the fire. You can see that too much NF-KappaB would lead to pain and increased inflammation generally with all that brings with it in terms of increased risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes etc.
The mix of botanicals in KappArest is designed to down-regulate the NF-KappaB and reduce the chance of that happening. It includes curcuminoids from the well-known anti-inflammatory turmeric and blends that with boswellia (frankincense) for a synergistic hit. It also contains black pepper which is known to enhance the absorption of the anti-inflammatory compounds. It's gluten, grain and pretty much everything free as it is a botanical mix in a gelatin capsule.
Nutrition Tip: combine this with a good essential fatty acid product or plenty of oily fish and ensure your Vitamin D levels to help lower inflammation.
