Direct link between autism and vaccine uptake – Yokahama

Figures comparing the uptake of the measles/MMR vaccinations in Kurashiki City in the district of Yokohama in Japan between 1988 and 1995 show a close correspondence to the rate of autism in the city – too close a correspondence for it to be coincidental.

See the data on the Child Health Safety website.

For a further investigation of direct link see the post on February 8th 2010 which links increases in the incidence of autism to major changes in the vaccination schedule between 1988 (when the rate of autism was one to four children in every 10,000) until 1993 (when it had risen to 29 children in every 10,000).
