Twelve fruits and vegetables that rank highest for pesticide residues

The Health Sciences Institute, an independent organisation working to uncover and research important health information and expose ridiculous health misinformation, has listed the twelve fruits and vegetables most likely to contain pesticide residues.
However, even if you go organic, they advise scrubbing all fruits and vegetables before eating them.

These are the 12 fruits and vegetables that consistently rank highest in pesticide residues:

1. Peaches
2. Apples
3. Sweet bell peppers
4. Celery
5. Nectarines
6. Strawberries
7. Cherries
8. Kale
9. Lettuce
10. Grapes (imported)
11. Carrots
12. Pears

And now for the good news: According to EWG these fruits and veg are the least likely to carry pesticide residues:
1. Onions
2. Avocados
3. Asparagus
4. Watermelon
5. Broccoli
6. Tomatoes
